I have been at my daughter's house the past week. Sunday morning we woke up to see all the trees covered with heavy frost. It was truly beautiful.

- I had always planned to work until I was at least 72. I am a 5 year breast cancer survivor. I also have ocular melanoma, a very rare cancer with a not so good prognosis. In the past 2 years I've developed severe lung problems. After an ICU stay on the critical list and missing work 1-2 weeks/month all of the past year the time has come to retire. My last day of work was 13 June 2007. Update9/2009: new cancer, stomach, and a sinus tumor in January that is malignant by location.
